{Tessa Kiros}

{top photo from bitterlemons}

When I first saw Tessa Kiros' Apples for Jam I instantly fell in love.
Now, her colorful cookbooks are at the top of my Buying list!

All of Tessa Kiros' cookbooks are full of life, memories, and color.
The pictures above are some examples of the vivid and colorful
imagery that are included in Ms. Kiros books.

I've recently been feeling a little under the weather
and nothing has sounded better than stew!
I found this scrumptious sounding
recipe
(from Apples for Jam) on La La Lovely.
I think I might give it a try!

To get to know Ms. Tessa a little better click here
to read an interview she did with Guardian.

Do you own any of Tessa Kiros books?

If not, do you have any cookbooks that
you just can't get enough of?

I checked Apples for Jam out of the library about 3 weeks ago. It was beautiful and a great cookbook to just read.

I don't have any of her cookbooks, but I like to get my recipes from Simply Recipes (the blog), and I have a dessert cookbook called "A Passion for Desserts" that I use more than any of my other cookbooks.

They are always beautifull but I like the recipes, too.

I just red & wept while reading Tessa's book "Food from many Greek kitchen's." I cried out of homesickness as I lived in the island of Rhode,where my half French half Finnish daughter was born,s & Crete for almost 16 years. I also felt undeserved pride as Tessa sharing the Finnish heritage as I do and multitude of nationalities like my daughter does <3 Rich lives are lived by these multicultural children & somehow they always paint the world more beautiful & tolerant :-)
